Features of the Emoji Me App

Predefined Shapes

Emoji Me have predefined shapes like oval, heart, circle, cat, man, girl etc. You can cut emojis in these shapes.

Emoji Using Scissors

You can cut part of image that you want as an emoji with the help of scissors.

Undo & Zoom

You can undo the action that you have already performed. Also, you can zoom the image and cut the emoji.

Filters

You have the facility of filters that can make more attractive emojis. You can increase brightness and contrast as well.

Add Text

Add a message on emoji would be a good idea. Users can add a number of texts on emojis with different colors, backgrounds, sizes, shadows, spacing, etc.

In-App Purchase

Users can create up to 3 expressions & other emojis for free. If a user wants to create more emojis then have to buy using In-app purchase.

Challenges We Faced for Emoji Me

Emoji Me is the quickest and easiest way to make custom emojis but there are a lot of challenges have to face by developement team.

The main challenge was cutting the actual image in the deisgned format as per the shape user draws and maintain the quality of image.

Solution

You can turn your face, a pet, or any object into an emoji! Simply cut the photo by tracing your finger around the desired emoji, use the eraser tool to clean up the edges, save your new emoji in one of the two folders provided - "My Expressions" or "Other."

Visual Style

Emoji me user interface is very simple with bottom tab bar options and an orange & white color theme. Preset images are of good quality. The “How to use” option present here for the help of users.
